Ok bought an Align 500E fuse for my Trex600E a couple of months ago and finally got some time to open and start build. This is my first large scale build I have only built one for my 450.
Here is my questions first off the tail servo rod is way to long probally for the 600n do you cut and shorten? If so what adaptor to reconnect? Also there is at kit to remove the Elevator servo and move inwards do I use this?
Has anybody built one and have pics of their build? Did you have to cut any part of the fuse?
Any help would be appreciated

I used Sullivan Golden Rod for my tail control rod, I also flipped my tail so that it would be on the correct side. I moved the elevator servo the the inside of the frame and if I remember I also used a spacer to push it in a bit more. The servo isn't even close!

Yes, you have to cut the tail of the fuselage off. I made 2 or 3 cuts so that I got it just right.

Hey wren
Did you use the factory mount holes in the back of the fuse?

Hey wren
Did you use the factory mount holes in the back of the fuse?
Yes, I did. This was the Funkey fuselage and I used the stock rear mount. Drilled two new holes for the plywood to bolt to the stock Trex LG mounting holes.

No, I didn't use the golden rod, the stock rod is what I used and it works perfectly.

How did you use the stock rod? On mine it would be to short when I moved the tail servo forward.

The trick is to cut the end of the scale boom because it's too long, once you've done that the stock rod will fit the stock aluminum boom .
