Hi all, I am new to this hobby and forum...I bought a CP from a friend he didn't have much fly time and now I know why. Anyway I am one of those hard headed folks that won't let this heli get the best of em! I'm going through Radds school and working on this lil bird. I have ordered a few parts from "rc super sales" such as cnc swashplate,bell/hiller,skids,plastic flats, alum tailboom etc.
So here I go on this lil adventure if anyone has tips or just kind advice on the BCP please share it...seems like most folks moved on from the BCP. I will dig around to find some old posts.

I also started with the Blade CP and I had the same attitude as you. Everyone told me not to waste my time with it and that it was very difficult to learn to fly. I did learn how to fly it and in doing so I learned a lot about CP helis. My advice to you is:
1. Take your time and be very patient.
2. Search the forums for advice and tips and tricks.
3. Super Skids and Plasti-blades will make it more durable and stable for a new pilot. Can be removed after flying skills improve.
4. Don't go crazy with mods and upgrades until you have mastered hovering in all orientations and some forward flight.
5. Practice on a simulator if you have one or access to one.
Good luck!

Thanks, Kyle from rs super sales called me today. After talking abit he got me straight he really runs an honest business. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and was very understanding to a noob and he saved me money.

I bought my CP Pro about 7 months ago and put more $ into it then I it cost originally!
But patience payed off in the end and I learned a lot of how these heli's work (or don't) in the processes.
Stick with it, if you can learn to fly a CP (and get it to fly right), you'll be able to fly just about anything after that.
