Okay been using my DX6i for about 7 mos now with no issues. I am out at the flying field Sat and flew 3 models on my DX6i.
1. Sea Fury 400
2. Trex 450SE
3. Trex 450SA
I flew 1 pack in my Sea Fury and 2 ea batteries in the SE/SA with no issues. When I go to fly my last 2 packs in my SE/SA It won't arm up, when I go from throttle hold to normal it starts to spin up on it's own. Looking at the swash it was way off and cocked back. The rudder was reversed on the tail. Checked the monitoring and the throttle was off a few clicks, the rudder was in normal instead of reverse. To make a long story short I did not realize it until I got home that the model memory was gone. None of the other models in the memory did that just the 3 I flew that day. The names of the models were in the memory but nothing else. I should have wrote the information down but did not live and learn on that.
Anyone have an explanation for the memory loss. My voltage on the radio never dropped below 5.3V and both Helos had full batterys. This little occurance cost me 3 blades and 1 set of servo gears. Guess I got lucky! Thanks Gene
