motor getting extremly hot

hello all i have a couple of questions well i have just recently bought a shogun ver 1 and well it has a stock 400h motor and well i am running a 1600 mah lipo and well in ten minute flight time just hovering well the motor is sooooooo hotttttt you cant even touch it for more than a second i cant afford to go to brushless quite yet so i am just curious if it is normal for the motor to get that hot and is there anything i can do to keep a little cooler or is there a better brushed motor i can use thanks for any help

Yeah, you get ~50W out with about ~60W loss that comes in a form of heat at max power:
