Hi Have flown about 370 Flight on my Fury Extreme :D :D :D :D
I do not fly Extreme 3d- just some flips, ticToc, Inverted, backward, invertedBackwardflight tialslide etc.

When placing the Flybar perpendicular to the heli, and with my hand twist/turn the paddles (Nick directions), there is some slop – would geuss about 3-5° total from side to side. :(

I can see that there is slop in the:
- center washout hub
- Swashplate - must be readjusted
- Swashplate Antirotation (Plastic)
- Bellcrank behind the swashplate (Nickservo)

These parts I will change….. :? :?
Maybe change thje Antirotaion to Metal/Alu???? :?:

But there also seems to be some slop in the 3 swashplate servos – Futaba S9252.
Is this normally after this number off flight???
Hove often do you place your servogears in S9252???
:?:

That sounds fairly typical, getting close to 50 gallons. I would not replace the plastic parts with CNC parts though as this often changes the geometry of things a little and makes the machine feel different.

If the swashplate slop is excessive, you may want to send that in for a checkup.

Go through all the ball links and balls too, there are probably a couple of those that could use replaceing.

Replace the servo gears, they are cheap and plentifull.

Hi Chris and others....

Regarding the slop/freeplay in the swashplate;
It looks like the slop is between the “Ball” and the rest of the Swasplate.

When tightening the four small screws at the “bottom” of the swashplate – will that help to remove the freeplay?

No, if there is slop between the ball and the race most likely it needs to be replaced. The four small setscrews only allow you to tighten up the fit of the ball bearing to the outer part of the swashplate.
