I have a request that I think would be helpful to a lot of people when it comes to trying to find comparable replacement parts.

Could the thread titled "Belt CP - Comparable T-Rex Parts" be changed to read " Belt CP - Comparable Parts"? Since it lists more that just T-Rex parts. It would be helpful if each part was listed with the actual vendor name and part number.
For example, I went to order the "HeliMax 400 Main Gear" listed in the thread and found its actually called "Heli-Max MX400 Main gear" part# HMXE8205. Another example for the DTS mod is the "Thunder Tiger-Servo Tray E325" part# TTRPV0718.

Are you the person to ask? Is this something you can do?

Respectfully
Wayne

Good suggestion. Also it would be better if those parts that required trimming or any sort of modification to be fitted to Belt-CP should be clearly stated. Eg: Align Wooden Pro Blades. Don't have the luxury to get a dremmel so I gave up on ordering it.

You dont need a dremel.
I used a file. It was just a case of a couple of mm.:)
You could also use a bench grinder, anything really.
The effort require, which is minimal is definately worth the reward.

You can pick'em for like 30 or 40 bucks. Kinda a drop in the bucket compared to what we spend on our heli's really. And they come in handy all the time, so much you can do with them.

Thanks for renaming the Sticky. Could you please take it one step farther?

Where possible, can the items currently listed be modified to give a clearer description of the actual vendor name plus the part number? This would help a lot when doing google seaches if you knew the name the vendor calls it plus the part number.

I guess what I am asking, is that as you discover items could you go back and modify the list? Here are some examples:

Current items to modify
Heli-Max MX400 Main gear - part# HMXE8205

Items to add
- Thunder Tiger-Servo Tray E325 - part# TTRPV0718
- Telebee Zoom Sub Micro Head Lock Gyro - part# TLB01

Each vendor has its own stock/sku/part number... Not everyone shops the same place.

Simple Google searches will yield the results for you.

As i also do not use all of these parts for instance the MX400 gears i would have no idea what the part number was or where to buy it.

That post was compiled from many many other posts mostly from AnotherFin over at the other forum.

If everyone would like me to edit with part numbers i can do so, simply provide me the info in this thread and i will update it accordingly.

kianhon ,

if you dont have a dremel or a file you can do it the ghetto way and just use the concrete! the keep scratching the blades on the ground in one direction till there the right size! use a bolt to align the two together.this saved me when i was out of town once lol

Or you can use sand paper readily available and cheap. Done that before!
