thunder tiger should make a 200.
Hmm. Looks kind of fug. Why would they do that after the awesomeness that is the Mini Titan??

I kinda agree. The E325 is rock solid/stable once setup the right way but it needs some serious work straight out of the box. Obviously they got the skill/knowhow to get things done properly (my E325 behaves like a bigger heli than my T-Rex 500) and a 200 size heli would be a very interesting offer by TT.
Looks very cheap and ugly

I'm disappointed... They don't seem to be doing the right choices...
I'm ok with you, they should have done a 200 instead, like all the others, and even should have considered doing a 120 like the upcoming Kyosho micro... Let's wait and see!

I saw the Innovator (several versions) in person at IRCHA. The all in one, cheap looking, plastic components didn't impress me at all. Besides that, I'd much rather see them release a 500 size heli comparable to the T-Rex 500. The Innovator is also too close in size to the mini-Titan.
Oh well, maybe next year.
Till then I'll just fly my MT and E550.

Fully agree with above comments.. Won't buy one either. I guess it must be a far more economical one.. More near the 'toy market' than the 'hobby market'..
In any case, I won't buy one.
As 3D Dave said..
I'll go and fly my MT E-325 and TT E-620s
Happy flying

This thing is a POS, it has 3 servos in one so have fun replacing gears and your stuck with TT stuff, also the lipo slots in and has special code so once again your stuck with TT stuff.
They are trying to keep you forced to but only TT stuff if you get this heli.
Its ugly!

You guys are missing the point here. TT is pushing this heli as a ALL IN ONE PACKAGE. Do you know how many times, in the last 6 years, I've been asked how much to get started and not have to build anything? A shit load of times!!! :YeaBaby:
The video from IRCHA looked good and the heli will fly and probably better than a lot of others still being offered these days! :...:
I say if it brings people into the hobby more power to them. When they out grow it in a few months they can upgrade but by then the BUG HAS BITTEN!

I'm tipping that it will be more than the B400!

I think it could work if price was on par with HBK2.
Could be a nice newbie heli, with enough power to do some light tic toc's.

after seeing it at ircha i would never buy one, but you guys have to realize that it is not intended for us flyers with experience it is targeted for people with little to no experience. seeing it fly in person also was kind of good as it did fly way better than any stock b400 that i have flown and or seen fly.

If Thunder Tiger can bring this bird in at a decent price, then why not? Not everyone wants to spend $1000 - $1200 on an "expert" level 450. From seeing the flight videos of this heli at IRCHA last month, I think it looked pretty good, especially the MD530 version. If TT can bring this bird in for around $350 - $400 it might do ok. Sure it has some plastic ( so does my T-rex), and yes it has some different technology, but I hear that TT spent 3 years and quite a bit of money on it's development. I also read that it was designed by the gentleman who penned the Raptor line ( I guess the million or so Raptors out there are junk too, after all they have plastic in their rotor heads). I will admit I'm a little skeptical about one thing, the ID specific battery pack. But I'll wait for a review before I decide. Remember, not everyone needs or wants the latest .50 sized CF framed 3D beast. There are actually some of us who enjoy a more sedate, realistic, flying style. For this the MD 530 looks great. I appreciate everyone's opinion on flying, just don't dis something just because it isn't your style or taste. The important thing is that we all love to FLY HELICOPTERS!

Well I have not found info online but from what my buddy read in a mag, this is supposed to be a heli to get everyone flyiing a heli, its 450 size, and supposed to be TUFF< supposed to be able to take a hard hit and be flyable like the blade CX and the small wal mart foam helis, thats why its built cheap looking, I hope it will be Cheap, $200 or less would be very nice.
its a tuff heli with foam blades but will also do 3D , they are two driffrent versions it looks like

I do not know, if you can fly into the ground while trying a loop I am in, LOL
they should send a totally neebie one and see if he can break it.

I'm interested in it too, and I have a Mini Titan. I bought it because of the articles I read that said it was very stable and was well made, so I figured it was a good choice to learn with.
But I'd rather buy a less expensive model that was durable and would let me try the basic skills I'm trying to develop without the risk of destroying my nice 401 gyro, 9650 servo, Airtronics 2.4ghz receiver, etc.
My goal is simply to enjoy smooth, scale flight for recreation, so the MD530 version really looks great to me. After I learn to fly reliably, I want to find the same body for my Mini Titan - or a Kiowa body if someone ever makes one that will fit.
There's a lot to learn for a newbie - main rotor setup, computer radio configuration, gyro function and gain tuning, lipo battery care, balancing rotors, throttle and pitch curves, the list goes on. The Innovator appears to be designed to deal with all of this for the new user so the user can simply try his hand a flying a real collective pitch heli.
Given all this, however, there's so much apparent sophistication built into the Innovator line that I'm concerned the price will be high. I agree with Epoweredrc. $200 would be a "go" for me to buy one. More than that and you start committing too much - particularly for a newbie who may just want to try-out the hobby.
I think these helis are intended to fill the gap between counter-rotators and standard collective pitch models. There's a significant gap between the two in terms of complexity and required skill.

I just found the Innovator MD530 on a European web site for 499.99 Euros - or $720 USD.
I sure hope the price comes down by the time it goes on sale here. So much for my hoped for $200.
