:glasses2: We are proud to announce the 2ND Annual Port Charlotte Fun-Fly!!!!!
After a great turnout last year, this event will be back due to popular demand. The date has been set for February 17th,18th and 19th of 2006. I will post updates as they become available to me, and a detailed fliar will be posted in the near future. Mark your calendars, for three full days of great weather, great pilots and of course great flying. We will again have three seperate flightlines, one being designated for Contest maneauvers only(classes 1,2,3,and FAI). The main flightline will of course be set up for open flying. And the third flightline will be designated for Scale Helicopter flying only. So all you scale guys bring your machines. Please direct any questions or comments you may have to myself (Rob Giles) at

FUN FLY MOTEL INFORMATION


We were able to block 20 rooms at the MOTEL 6 – 9300 Knight Drive
I-75 @ Jones Loop Road Exit #161 Punta Gorda, FL 33950

Ten rooms are held on February 17th and ten more rooms are held for February 18th.
Ten rooms are single, ten rooms are double.

The rates are as follows: $69.99 per night/1 person + tax
$75.99 per night/2 people + tax
$78.99 per night/3 people + tax
$81.99 per night/4 people + tax

Call for reservations before January 17, 2006 @ 1-800-544-4866 and mention either the confirmation #M123100011 or the Group name: Charlotte Radio Control Club.

You must call before January 17, 2006 to make your reservation, as of January 18, 2006 the rooms will go back to the motel. Rooms may still be available after that, but remember this is the “peak-time” for vacationers. (The prices will surely be higher!)
