Well I'm using Mystery 2 cell 7.4v 900Mah so I can't see why not.

Ktmguy23,

The stock HBFP runs very well on 2S packs, I have experience with:
600, 800, 900, 1000, 1200 and 1325mah packs, you are just changing the capacity of the cells and the flying weight of the Heli. While a higher capacity should in theory give you more flight time.... it is going to add more weight, put more strain on the motor (adding heat) and waisting precious mah.....
I have seen a 2S 600mah setup get 10 solid minutes of flight time
I have also seen a 2S 1325 setup get 10 solid minutes of flight time.... due to the added weight, there really isn't a great benefit...

If you ever upgrade the motors to a Slomax and a CN12 on the tail, 3S packs fly like a dream with M24 blades. (take your time and learn to fly it stock before you move for these upgrades)

I've used 7.4v 800, 850, & 900 mAh LiPo's on a stock HBFP and all work just fine.

standard packs are fine, just as long as you look after them prob the best balance (weight x mah) imo

Can you use 11.1v 3 cell with an upgraded 380 xtreme motor and upgraded GWS tail motor?

Yes, you can, but the 380 xtreme is bad enough on a 2S pack, running it on 3S is going to make your throttle stick really touchy and your going to hover around 25% stick and climb quickly at 40% stick.... but as long as you can handle the sticks, your motors should be ok as long as you broke them in good with some AA batts (running them on straight 3S without breaking them in will wear them quickly).... I run a Slomax and GWS DD tail on 3S, very quick, but flies nicely on a set of M24's
