lol, now i realize how retarded my question was. Let me rephrase. While the camera is in the air, a wireless device, to feed to a computer.

Ha ha, I see now .

Most people purchase a video downlink and use the camera's video out port to privde a wireless downlink from the camera to the ground. Have a look at Range Video, Black Widow AV, Blip RC, HiCam to name a few. There are 2.4Ghz, 900Mhz and 1.3Ghz packages availalbe with vairous power outputs but I find the 900Mhz 500mw systems work best for me.

There are a number of deivces that allow a USB connection from the video downlink receiver to the laptop via USB. Here's one of them:

There are devices such as the URBi or Camremote that allow you to trigger the camera via the USB port but I'm not aware of any devices that provide a USB connection to the downlink transmitter.

personally... I took apart the camera and wired a sub-mini audio jack to the cameras focus, and trigger button.... works with a servo relay switch, or a 555 timer. Video downlink from the NTSC outputs to monitor.

Interesting idea using an audio jack. I believe that's the same thing as installing a flysoft switch, which is what I use. It's small, programable and you don't get the buffer problems encountered with the USB triggers.
