As a newbie, I've been learning tons from the forums here.

Something I haven't been able to find much on is what kind of power ESCs are actually able to handle and the relation between them, the motor and battery ratings. For instance, one of my helis is a Gaui 200 with a stock 12A ESC and motor, using 2S 7.4V 850mA 15C batteries. I could be complete off, but if the batteries are 15C, 850mA isn't that 12.75A?

Also, I have a Z-Power 5150KV motor I want to put in. As far as I can tell, most guys are running the stock ESC with that motor and am wondering if that will pull too much power for the stock ESC.

I did find the thread talking about batteries, so understand a LITTLE more about them and found a little bit about the KV ratings on brushless motors, but it would be nice to have a sticky here or in the tech room section about all the pieces in a electric heli power system and how they interact.

Looking forward to all the great info this will surely bring!
