Hi!

I got my new AP 2000i and I plugged my AP2000i gain wire into GEAR on my rx (the gyro gain WAS there) and I plugged my gyro gain into slot 4 of the AP2000i. I was wondering: I was told to adjust my gyro gain with the Slot 4 trims, and each trim goes up to 50%. Does it mean that at 0% of trim, my gyro gain is at 0%, at 50% trim my gyro is at 100%, and at 25% trim my gyro is at 50% (HH mode starts there)? So anything after 25% trim would give me HH?

Thanks!

The gyro gain would go into Servo slot #4 on the AP2000i. You then use the trim setting in the AP2000i menu to set the gyro gain to achieve HH mode.
The stabilization gain lead to control the AP2000i would then go into the freed slot on your rx to be controlled by the switch that formerly activated the gyro mode.

BUT!:the trim isn't proportionnal (ie: you have 50% of trim avail. on the ap2000, so you would be tempted to say: Ok, so 25% is the limit between rate and HH, but its not, you have to verify with a servo tester)

Above 0% is HH. Going below 0% (-) is rate.

Perhaps the easiest way is to plug a spare servo into your rx gain slot. Note the positoin of the servo horn. Now plug it into the #4 slot on the AP2000i. Adjust TRM4 until the servo position is back to the previously noted position. The gain to your gyro should now be the same as you had it from the rx.

Yes, but now I use another radio on the rig, so the ap2000 is controlled by the AUX2 and my gyro is back on the gear channel
