Part of my MP5 - 90 fell off while flying my Trex 700

Hey All,

I spent the past week building my new Trex 700. I took her out for a maiden flight this morning. First tank was fine, although the default OS91SZH settings were incredibly rich and my heli was covered in oil.

Halfway through the second tank I noticed that there was alot of smoke around the heli. As if the muffler had come loose. I was just about to land when I noticed that the end of the exhaust fell off! I couldnt believe it! That just killed the rest of my Sundays flying.

Has this happened to anyone before? Dodgy workmanship? Two tanks and it fell off!

I would guess the aluminum wasn't prepped right prior to the weld and some contaminants caused the weld to be weak and break after the heat cycles

Oh well..... had enough of CY.... switched to Hatori 939.. with vibration dampening grommits. Much happier :)
