Well I brought (2) cases to Clintstones B-Day bash. This is a longer trip so I am thinking (3).... minimum.

Becky and I plan to be there with lots of tppacks and super deals on trex's including the new se kits. We will only have a limited supply of the se's so it will be first come or presold. Will have all the trex parts with us. Looking forward to seeing all the freaks. Bob & Becky B&B Hobbies

Not this trip. It is too far to take the time in the middle of tax season so we have a room at the sleep in. We still would like to party with you guys.

I've got a room available at the Jameson Thurs check-in to Monday check-out. We're over at the Comfort Inn instead. Not gonna cancel till I know someone doesn't need a room.

Look for it at B-Ham!!!

Where is the best place to fill up with water before we roll in?

Probably the garden hose at yo house before you leave. Only other place would be a KOA of some sort. That would be the only water sorces that i would trust.

Where is the best place to fill up with water before we roll in?

There is BP Stations at Exit 1 and Exit 6 on I-459. These are the exits you would use to get to the flying field. Anyone pulling any trailer that is higher than 8 1/2 feet will have to use Exit 1. The road that comes from Exit 6 has a low overpass that is only 8 1/2 feet tall.

I would think you could get water at the BP station. Also I know Clintstone has a portable water tank and pump usually with him. He can haul 30 gallons and pump it into the tank.

You can dump grey water at the field. Just bring you a long hose so it can drain away from the field. No Black Water dumping, just Grey water :D

If anyone else is wanting to stay at the field or cant find a hotel and want to "rough it". I am bringing my wenzel 8x10 tent that someone can use. PM or just see me at the field. Bring your own cot and heat.

OK just an update.
I talked to people at the Sleep Inn motel today. All the rooms are gone in the Sleep Inn. It is basically filled with pilots that are attending the event.
The Comfort Inn at exit 108 is owned by the same person that owns the Sleep Inn. They have a few King rooms left. They will give a special rate of $79 a night plus tax.
There phone number is 205-428-3999

Also the Hampton Inn has some King bed rooms and Double bed room. There rate is $104 a night plus tax. Couldn't talk them into a discount. 205-425-2010

Jameson Inn has some double bed rooms $73 a night plus tax
205-428-3194

Those are the ones from the list on the flier that have rooms.

David,

My wife and I are coming with our camper. We should be there fairly early Thursday night. We are leaving Bridgeport after 5:00 and it should be about 2 hours or so to get there.

See all the Freaks there!! :smokin:

AMA information.

I know some of you may not renewed your AMA for 2006. And some of you may want to join AMA.
A Current AMA membership is required to fly at the event.

As a Contest Director I can sign up new AMA members and renew AMA memberships.
I will have 2006 AMA applications at the event. So if you need to renew or get a new membership to fly at the event. That will not be a problem.
You just fill out the application and pay the appropiate fees and you will be an AMA member.

Another option is printing the AMA application off the AMA website and already have it filled out. You can put a credit card number on the application or use a personal check. Bring it with you to the event.
