Hey folks,

I just heard from Alan, he is ok, but his product trailer didn't make it. A guy jumped the median and Alan had to swerve to make him miss his car, but the guys car took out Alan's trailer. Alan said he almost flipped the whole thing, but was able to control it. John White and Mike Fortune helped Alan load everything up in all their vehicles and are dropping all the product off at Alan's house in Saltillo. Sounds like the trailer basically died.

Glad Alan is ok.... scary situation.

It was great event. Had a great time. The weather was good but could have been warmer for us Florida people. Glad to see so many Century freinds at an event for a change. Great job David.

Lots of great flying going on this weekend with minimal crashing. Keeping them in one piece is always good...

Has anyone heard from the guy who got hit with the heli? Is he ok? He seemed ok after the incident, but I bet he feels like he was hit with a truck today.

Friday or Saturday!!! Was it a nitro machine or a Trex? :dontknow :?: :?:
But. otherwise, a great event by Mr. David Harkey and all the attendees despite mother nature trying to cool us all down and blow us away :lol: :wink: Fully enjoyed it!

I just got in and yes the heli that hit that guy was a nitro. Alan's trailer is totaled and so was alans nerves. Anyway we got him took care off. PS hey will I heard ya shoutin. Hey Wattybotts were is my torch man? Also a 9c and 9z was left at the field. Ask David H if you are missing one.

It was Saturday afternoon, after lunchtime. I heard about it, but didn't see it happen. Not sure who it was either..

I was flying at the station next to him. I heard a loud smack and then my spotter told me that a heli just hit a guy.. It was a raptor 50 that hit him and it didn't even break the skin. i'm sure he really feeling it today.

Good thing for the chilly weather and lots of clothing. Could have been a lot worse.
I know a guy that hit his own leg in the calf
and took it right to the bone with R30 and wooden blades.

Well we made it home. Had a great time seeing everyone again. David you put on one heck of an event. Everyone told us we had to make Birmingham and they were right had a great time.
