So guys, i bought the logo 500 3d V-bar kit, the Jr 8717's 550mm blades and a 8amp bec, as i'm waiting for the v-bar electronics i have gone ahead and built the Logo 500 with the cf tail.

Id like to know if there are any tips out there that i can read up on for setting up this heli with the electronics, and preping the heli in this state, ie there is a metal piece in the middle above the swash plate, where does that go ?

should i plug in my receiver and set the pitch ? how do i set the pitch now with no vbar, ? id like to do as much as possible at this point, is this a good idea ?

Thanks guys.

You can do a full mechanical setup.
I'd do it with the recomended horn setting for the v-bar.
Get the rudder set to center of the throw.

Then your going to need the v-bar setup.

There is a logo plugin in the new software, should give you a good start.

I used the 600n plugin , checked the swash directions , and leveled the swash at top and bottom on the expert menu. Other than that i did monor tweaks. Once i learn more i'll tweak more.

I'm thinking of the sk360 for my trex 500.
They have there gen 2 out now , said to have the takeoff tipover fixed up.

Finless is going to do vids on the 500 conversion. Going to wait on that.

Either system you need to do a mechanical setup on.
