Hey Randy,
The Possum is now a member of the Freaks!
This is a very good event put on by a great bunch of guys. They have a large field with no obstacles unless you really hunt for them. The locals are very hospitable and the food is EXCELLENT:thumbup:, especially if David is doing his tenderloin!! This event is definitely worth the drive, lots of fun with a great bunch of people and very good food. Don't miss it!

Randy,
I plan on being there to help out in any capacity I can. Just let me know what you need.
This may not be the correct place to put this, but do you remember the guy from the Air Force Academy we had at TEFF2007? He plans on being back at TEFF2008 again this year! He says he has made modifications to both of his helicopters where he can fly those wild maneuvers about twice as fast and about at half the altitude (including at night!):Bang That's a show definitely worth seeing.

Thanks Phil. Noon time demos are starting to look awesome. I just got confirmation that Wesley Haney and his dad will be there also. Wesley just returned from IRCHA where I here he did some great demo flights. Looking forward to both these gentlemen being with us. Wesley, you are penciled in for a noon demo. :YeaBaby:
Thanks.

Hey everyone. We are getting closer. Just heard from Big-Al that he is coming in on Friday. Thats good because last year I trashed my Raptor the day before the fun-fly and didn't get to fly (or maybe I should say hover). We still have not found one of the main blades.:dontknow We will have plenty of flight stations set up with lots of room for everyone. We have an area set aside just for those that are learning to hover or working on a new bird. Several people will be coming in on Friday. The field will be open for flying with the heli event starting on Sat. Morning around 8:00. We will start to wind down on Sun. by 2:00 p.m. but you are welcomed to stay as long as you like.
Can't wait to see everybody.:smokin:

Possum,
Right now we will leave it up to the pilots to decide if they want to have any contest or special flying. I personally would like to see a auto-rotation contest. Maybe one of our pilots will help us organize something on Saturday that would be fun for everyone. I have heard of one other club that had a hovering contest that all skill levels could participate, but I am not sure how it works. Any suggestions out there? See you soon.

Hey Randy,
I don't know if you've heard yet, but I messed up my knee last Saturday night. I may not be able to work concessions for events for a while, maybe not even able to work at TEFF in October. If you can come up with some extra help it will be good.

Sorry to hear about that Possum. There are many stories out there about just how you hurt that knee. Hope you can come anyway. Get well. We need you.
