Hey guys,

After my not so recent big purchase of a new rifle which has left me broke ( $2500 broke ) I have finally got enough money to get a Trex 700.....

Here is the list so far

1. Trex 700
2. Jr 8915 x 3
3. Spartan ds760
4. Jr 8900g
5. 710 V blades
6. Flightpower 4300 rx pack
7. Duralite 5.1 switch reg
8. Spektrum AR7000 or 7100 ( still undescided )

Now the problem im having is choosing a good engine... My friend has a OS 91 sz non pumped and that is ok...... But another flying buddy has a YS 91 ST and that is a WOW of an engine....

While doing some research I found that YS do a 91 SR long stroke, so im now confuzzled on which of the YS engines I should go for..... Bearing in mind it will be used for hard 3D..

Any advise would be much appreciated

Alex

The new SR puts out way more power than the old ST motor. If you are going with a YS then get the newer SR. I believe Rick's has a shipment coming this week and Heliproz may have some as well. Also if you are going with the 7100 receiver you do not need a regulator. The 7100 has had some issues with broken antennas. There is a long thread over on RR covering it.

Great thank you

I don't suppose you have a link for the thread on RR

hobbyhut.com/store has them in stock and at a good price. Ordered mine from then on Sat and it shipped Mon. That's the kind of service I like!

Do you know if the 8915 rated at 8v? If not then you'll still need a regulator. The 7100R only regulates the Rudder, Gear, Aux2 and Throttle down to 5.1V and the rest will be at 8V.
