Got a question. Does the Gyro have to be placed inline with the fuselage or can it be placed along side as I have in the pic below? I thought as long as it was perpendicular to the shaft there would be no problem? Sorry for the crappiness of the pic. My cell phone is the only thing I have at the moment. I'm trying to avoid placing on the boom due to fuel residue.

The heli is the Kinetic 50 from Heli-Max.

Thatt is fine.

Basically it can be placed anywhere as long as its' operating axis is parallel with your mainshaft.

Of course the further from anything that is vibrating the better also....ou would not want to attach it to the engine <g>

Gottcha. Thanks. I think I simply don't have the mechanical center set yet. It creeps to the right ever so slightly. I balanced the tail blades tonight. Will se if those adjustments make any difference.

That's where I put mine. I made a plate to cover the old servo opening and screwed it down, then stuck the gyro on the plate. It flies just fine and you can make any adjustments easilly. Just make sure you leave clearance between the gryo and the aileron servo...you do not want them to come in contact with each other.
