Unless you have one already ordered. The possibility of getting one is not that great. Usually there is only 50-75 motors in a shipment.

I just order one for the back order from Tower hobby. Hope I can get it.

I'm glad I bought when I did. I got mine from Rick's back in the first part of this year. I got the last 4 he had and I'm hanging on to them and hopefully take care of the 2 I'm flying now. I'm still flying some C-Specs as well but much prefer the YS. ONce I run out of bearings for the C-Spec I'll probably run nothing but YS.

I have great respect and admiration for you knowledge. I wish that I could claim to know 1/10 of what you do about the hobby passion of my life. Saying that and wanting to be helpful to those who are waiting for YS 91s and without hurting your feelings I respectfully call you out on your figures. :D After reading your post I e-mailed YS Performance and Dave Shadel replied that they would receive the engines this week and that they always received engines in the "multiple hundreds".

Yes they recieve engines in the multiple hundreds. But that is because the engines are shipped in a shipping container. There is all sizes and kinds of engines in the container. Not all of them are YS 91's heli engines. From my past experience with YS Performance, Mr Yamada sends as many engines as he can, but it is not as many as people think.

Only Raptors and Heliproz both have them in stock. Got mine coming :lol:
Ordered my from Heliproz yesterday.
