It is finally done. :D
My son (w/ my money) bought me a Spectra G w/ all the trimmings last year for Christmas, I finally got it together this week. :?
Haven't had it to a field yet, just a little hovering around the yard-- seems like a good piece. I opted to build it w/ a FAI head and paddles @ about 48 grams. It is a little tame but I plan to use this machine to practice some hover manuvers and also for a little camera work. The engine is still rich and running a little rough but the heli is very stable w/ this head and paddles.
So far I like it.
I am going to do a little Pro Stock testing tomorrow and the next day in GA and I am looking foward to throwing the Spectra w/ a gal of fuel in the car along w/ the radio and doing some flying between runs-- no flight box needed and the gal will fly for about 5 hrs at least. :D
