Bear with me please, but I have a silly question:

Could you use a 4 in 1 from a CX2 in the HBfp? Kinda curious.

If I bought one, I'd like to use my DX7. I hate lugging around extra Tx's.

To be honest, but I'm really not 100% sure ideal.... :thinking The CX2 uses two main motors and the speed of the bottom blades to move the tail around it's axis.

The HBFP uses a dedicated tail motor and I do not believe the dynamics are the same in the 4n1 for it to move from a coaxial style to a single rotor + tail. I have never flown a coaxial, so someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but the flying styles don't match.

I would have to pass this to someone who has tested it..... Maybe you can adjust the POTs in the 4n1 so that it would act right in a single rotor setup....

I know I really didn't give you a "straight" answer... maybe someone has tested this....
