choosing a motor [Archive]

Can someone give me some suggestions as to the best motor to install on a MX400 along with pinion options. I made a post a couple of weeks a go in the main forum but with not many replies but I really appreciate the ones I got but I need more advice.

Align 420LF, 430LF, Mega 16/15/3 are good. 13T and 11T pinions will help you tune to your taste.
Hit HC on the radio to find out his setup on the trex. Great power!

I'm having great luck with running the Mega 16/15/3 on the prolite 2100 packs. I'm using a 13 tooth pinion also.I'm only running 80 % throttle on it in idle up. Has more than enough power for my aggressive flying...

Troy's about as laid back as anyone I know..
