View Full Version : OS with Cline mod or YS stock

Need help again. Been using YS 91 on all of my x-cell and really happy with the result. Some people told me to try OS with cline mod. But I got bad experiance with my OS 70(hole on the piston). My questions are...
Am I really going to notice the difference between the two.
If I am getting OS, do I need to upgrade my Extreme clutch bell to the bigger one, (this is the only one with 8.18 gear, but other Extreme with heavy duty clutch bell are 8.36).
For my level of flying(funnel, kaos, flying backwards, snake, hurricane) do I need this kind of motor.

I would suggest going to the HD clutch bell and clutch where your using the OS engine or not.

I have flown the YS 91 and OS 91 in helis that were identical. From my doing comparsion between them for a few months. The OS has more top end power than the YS. I have the OS Cspec with OMI carbs on them. They have performed flawless for couple of years now.
