Whip antennae + ION? Anyone?

My R149DP is setup for a deans. Anyone experimented with whips yet on this thing?

the Revolution is fine here also... Personally, I have not had good luck with the dean's antenna on nitro machines... No way am I putting a Dean's whip on my ION!!!

Thanks guys. Shannon - why are you selling the 109's??? I just got my 2 in the mail....

I have a Revo and a Deans. Never had a problem with either in a nitro machine. I like the Deans just cuz Im not limited to 4" of antennae lead like the Revo. Tim indicated that nobody there had tried a remote yet.

If either of you guys is flying a 9Z, could you help me out??

With the servos plugged in as outlined in the chart, and +60,+60,+60 in SWH (SR3 set). All ATV' 100/100. Can you tell me your FNC scheme and your servo reversing scheme?? Or tell me if I need to put some minuses in the SWH config.

I got it to work by setting -J1 and -T1 and -J2 and -T3 (im x-trimmed) in the FNC menu. Also had to do some reversing. Tim didnt have a radio to help me with today.

I ordered 4 of them- for some reason I figured some poor ION-X owner would find him/her self with a ready to fly heli and no charger. So I have two extras now.
