From 9C to 9X or 9303

Is there anyone here who have gone from Futaba (9C) to JR(9X or 9303) and what did you think about it?

1. Why haven´t I done this before....
2. What the heck have I done....

I am curious about the JR radio but don´t know if I will do a mistake by switching brand...

I own both a 9C and a 9303. I like the the switch selectivity of the 9C but the software interface of the 9303 is much better. Other than that, it's a push.

How about the space between the switch? Is it better or worse on 9303

I'm not sure what is better or worse, but there is slightly more space between the top mounted switches on the 9303. The center of the toggle bases on the 9C are 18mm and 20mm on the 9303. In addition, the 9303 has the front top switch slightly angled forward giving a little more room there. Measuring at the top of the switches the distance between the switches is 23mm on the 9303.

I forgot to mention this. Although this is not an issue with me, there was a thread on this forum complaining that the 9303 didn't balance properly when hung by the strap.

That was me complaining about the balance. I solved it by making an alternate strap hook that was moved down by about 3/4 inch.

Some have said that my balance would not have been so far off if not for my high capacity battery pack. But who uses the stock 600ma pack? Mine is 2100.

Just don't get the Airplane version, it'll kick ya in the butt trying to get everything working, not to mention the switch locations suck for idle 1/2..

I thought the strap was to hang on your rearview mirror to display all the clothespins and name cards you have collected from all the funflies????
