Guess this forum isn't all that popular, lol. It's ok. Over in our planker forums the helis have about the same amount of use. Since I'm still mainly a plane flyer, here's some pics. Got a bunch of videos at www.jimmcq.neptune.com

Here's my "buddy" ( I say that loosely) Bob Sadler showing his support for me.

Nice planks!
One day maybe I'll dust off some of my birds and fly 'em... nah, Who'm I kidding!?
I'd love to have a 37-40% Pitts S2C however... I'd fly it for a while, then it's a hanger queen like the others.. ;)

Nice pictures. I bought my dad a NexStar Select trainer for Christmas last year and we both have one decent flight on it each. If it wasn't for me buying that for him in conjunction with my mom, I probably wouldn't have gotten into helis. Me, I've always been interested in RC helis, but until I picked up Realflight G3, I wasn't sure I'd ever suceed in trying them.
I do really appreciate the beautiful scale war birds and some other cool air racers, like the Bulldog, the Gee Bee, ect. They are definitely neat.

This is the latest addiiton to my fixed wing fleet. It is a scale Super Dimona by the Green Models company.
It took it's re-test flights this weekend and flew beautifully in 10 - 15 knot winds. The kit originally had problems with the elevator control tubing (nyrods ... ick) and the nose gear, but after fixing those it flys great!
It's powered by an older Aveox brushless geared to swing a 12-8 APC electric prop. The battery is a Korean brand 15C 3100mah 11.1v Lipo. Flying time is 30 - 40 minutes per charge.
Mine is in the foreground. The one is the background is a glow conversion done by one of the local flyers. Neither of us had any idea that the other person had one until we arrived at the field!
