I am using 2 of the stock Eflite chargers for my B400 and Compy.... and resist the cost of a good charger.. then I saw this...

A max charge rate of 1.1A, going to take forever to charge anything.

Yeah.. but the stocks are 1.2A so I am used to that. :)

If your going to spend money you want something BETTER than what you already have.

Well.. that one is at least better than my stock b400 chargers.

no the stocks are 1.8 amps look at the front of the charger it says 1.8 amps output and lipos should be charged at there rating so a 1800 mah at 1.8 amps and a 2100 mah at 2.1 amps and that charger is rated below both at 1.1 amps

I checked out the 5amp one and read the first customer review and after partialy reading through it it sounds like a piece of crap he was talking about having to modify it

Yeah.. I guess I'll just stick the the Eflite chargers until I can afford a good one.

I ended up finding a Triton2 for around $70 for my first "nice" charger. It won't do 6 cells...which is the only realy downside I have found. Everything else about it is nifty!!! My wife enjoyed picking out the "ringtone" that lets you know the charge is finished. hehe Anything that scores points with the wife gets MEGA bonus points overall!!! Seriously......a good charger is WELL WORTH IT!! You will not regret dropping the money on a nice charger Sly!!!

Like Gunnyglow I have 2 e-flite and an old school triton1 attached to a 8A ATA power supply. Its not the greatest but I can go by and charge my 4(2250),2(1800) and 2(2100).
