Hi,
I have a little problem to relsove on my 3D PRO. The dampeners on the spindle are very bad!!! I have changed 3 times my dampeners with brand news from century, and the spindle on the head is very loose. That result to having many vibration on the heli.
Someone have found a trick or an upgrade to resolve this general problem on each Humming Elite???
Rodney, do you have a hint directely from Century??? Does Century will do an upgrade version of his dampeners???
Thanks for your help!!!

Guys, All the C.P. version of Hummingbird have a big problem . We are many guys have Humming CP and 3D PRO and all have the same problem.
DAMPENERS IS VERY VERY TOO SOFT!!!!!!!!! So, in the RC HELI magazine, I read the same thing happens with the T-REX 450 XL and the guys in this review said a trick to relsove this problem. I have decided to share that with you...
Use a fuel tubbing to replace the dampeners. Cut, a piece of fuel tubbing long as twice the spindle. Insert the spindle on the fuel tubbing, completly till the end of the part is in the fuel tubbing. Do not place the spindle in the middle of the fuel tubbing. Ather, put the piece on the head by pulling the fuel tubbing with a pliers.
In the same time, push the spindle with your thumb to insert the spindle at the right place. Don't forget to place each hole in the good direction before insert the spindle!!! Take care to don't press to hard on the head because you could damage the main shaft.
Thats all!!!
I did that on my 3D pro and relsove big problems of stability and vibration...
Good luck...
Yeah had this problem. I kept balancing the blades got it all running super smooth. But if large cyclic input put in or skids hit ground, the helicopter developed a nasty vibration (rather like ground resonance that can develop on three bladed full size chopper). I also suspected the head dampers as they have become loose. Anyway the cure is (not 100% sure of cause) to tightened the main blade bolts (I have always previously had them so the blades could swing quite freely).
Work for me ... good luck.

Thanks... gim.... I have done the trick and relsove mostly my problem. But I have some little vibration on my heli yet. So, I found a broken bearing in my mast tower. I replaced it and it's bette now. But , I can see some little vibration on my landing skid and on the rear of the boom yet....
Good luck to relsove all of your problem... Feel free to share your experience on helifreak....
