I set up my Sport per the manual. At 50% collective, blades zero, and the mixer arms at three degrees down. Max positive pitch is 10 degrees, negative is 10 degrees. If I turn on idlle up 1, go to full negative pitch, move the cyclic to either full aft left or right, as you rotate the rotor around, as the blade gets to either of those cyclic positions, that rotor blade can easily be flipped over. Is that something that can happen in flight? Other than going with less negative pitch, how can this be adjusted?
Thanks...Paul Zurawski

your pitch link from upper mixer to blades grip is too long shorten that and lengthen longer one

Let me make sure I understand this. With the flybar level, the upper mixer should be parallel with the flybar, and not 3 degrees tilted down? The manual shows the upper mixer at 3 down, so the linkage to the blade grip will be 90 degrees to the mixer arm at half stick. If I reset the mixer arm to be level, and the angle between the mixer arm and pushrod is not 90 deg now, does it make much difference on how the blades change pitch at max pos/neg collective throw?

B727,

Set it up like the manual. It will fly perfect. My blades will flip easily when full negative on the bench as well. I am just Sport flying mine but my friend can fly my heli doing full-on 3D with no issues.

Thanks...I am just a sport flyer too...just wanted to make sure I wasent going to have a spectacular airborne explosion if I did a tight loop.

as Phil said, shorten the short links to the blade grips and lengthen the ones up from the swash, you will probably only need to go a couple of turns to stop it happening.
