Can someone explain the main difference between the two. I'm by no means a hardcore 3d flyer yet.

GY240

Adjust the gain on the gyro, AVCS only
Update rate not as fast as 401

Adjust the gain from the transmitter, Has normal rate mode and AVCS mode selectable from the transmitter
Will support digital servos, update rate is 4 times faster than 240.

Thank you very much. Seems like the 401 is a good one to get and stick with as my skills progess(hopefully)

GY 240 is mainly for analog servos.
gy 401 is for either, but is best on digital servos.
