This is just begging for a turbine conversion. Big, solidly built machine :-)

THAT IS BLOODY POSH!!!!
Well spotted old lad!
As you say doing your own conversion would be easy.

I would say you're right! If they had that available I'd have gotten one instead of the predator. Love all the milled aluminum.

Ahh yes but don't forget the Predator is a much more compact size, so I'd rather have the Predator.

Hey Guys,

Sorry to put a dampner on things but looking at the frame design it doesn't look like it would lend itself the the Turbine conversion to easily, they seem to be all in one like on the Freestyle which is why that model has not been Turbine'd.
Having said that, on any Gasser model the frames are well spaced apart to cope with the wider engine and so a 44 may fit as an example.

Someones got to try it when they are released.

Chop the frames! And then add your own brackets for the engine.

PM Billme here on the freak. I am sure he helped design it and would answer your questions.

okay, continuing with this thought of hacking and modifying, how much different is the Condor gasser from the predator ?

Does this lend itself to a the Wren conversion :-)

okay continuing with this theme of modifications, chopping and using fine craftsmanship to fit a new power plant (pass me the knockcrometer please ;-) ) , how much different if the Condor gasser to the predator ? More study in the construction ? Does it too like the Wren conversion kit :-)

Predator and Condor are the same structure just longer tail boom and bigger clutch

And ideal gear ratio out the box to I think from memory.

Only problem with using a Gasser or Condor airframe as the donor mechanics for the Turbine conversion is the lower rear frame sections are different I think? I've never seen or tried a Gasser to Turbine conversion and so cannot say for sure, but I think the rear frames are different.
