Helicommand mounting

Hey guys,
Is there any advantage/disadvantage to mounting a helicommand on the side frame near the main shaft as opposed to mounting on the tail boom? (HC3A, Logo 500)

I've mounted the HC-3A in all positions and did not find any advantages. The only thing I would recommend is to keep it away from any static sources such as the mani gear.

Have you set one up mate? Ive one to fit to a trex 600e... and my heads cooking just reading the user manual!

If You do not have the PC interface yet, get one, You will find the installation so much more easy. I was simply not able to do it without.
