Hi Guys,

What do you guys recommend for sub micro digital servos to use on a 200 size heli. I'm either looking to try it on a Gaui 200 or the new SJM 180 that'll be coming out soon.

I think digis would be better for the accuracy and the best I could find so far are the JR DS287MG servos.
They're a bit on the heavy side as the recommendation is for 6-10g servos on the SJM 180. I think the DS287's are around 10.5g. They're fast enough with a 0.8 sec @ 4.8V.

Would I be better of saving weight and going with say a HS45? How well will a small analog servo work with a v-bar/AC-3X/flybarless system?

Anything else you guys can think of?

hyperion makes some .6 second or so servos are that real small, I haven't tried them though. Hyperion atlas they are called.

I use S3153 with AC3X ( 9 Gram)

It works fine on 200 Hz frequency.

If the size is not too big Irecomend those.

HSC,

Thanks, that's what I have ordered up. I'm curious what heli are you using them on?

those 3153's are going to be big for cyclic servos on a gaui 200.
