Retract servo for big air wolf

I building Big Airwolf w/ bengin mech.(vario). I have question about retractable Gear.
Do i need a retract servo like Air plane to do the work or Can i use regular servo??

I have had one of these I use high torque servos It takes a bit to lift the gear in th center two wheels I can't recall which ones I used. I know they were Hitec. It will take some time to get them to come up together.
