Well with some time off i just finished and started for the first time my new Predator a little prime to the carb and it fired right up, but i was very surprised at the noise level of that gigantic muffler it's loud, and now for my question of the day what are you supposed to use to remove and replace the spark plug on my G-23 is there a special plug wrench for this as none of pro wrenches or sockets will get through the hole in the frame ?

Well the V2 is a lot quieter (or so I hear I have only ever had that one).

You should have gotten a thin wrench with your motor. It looks like the same one that would come with a chain saw motor. I would bet that it is ;)

If you have a V2 (they are 265mm end to end) you can get a restrictor to make them even more quiet although I do not find mine that loud.

Hey Dan
Thanks for the reply, my exhaust is the V-2 it say's so on the box but i think for such a large muffler it's noisy as i have other gasser's on planks and they are a lot quieter then this one, so the wrench you mean is one of those stamped steel cheapy's OK i think i have one of those around somewhere thanks.

Yep. Cheap stamped steel. but then again. . . I really do not have my spark plug "cranked" on there.

it looks like this top one right?

That's it all right a huge honkin muffler i see your's comes real close to the canopy also mine just has enough space between so close i hope it dosen't fry hate to cut the canopy out for extra clearance.

No mine is fine and the muffler still looks good after 2 gallons although I have some "brown spots" on there that do not want to come off.

Guys the restrictor will make the V2 more quiet..... I use camper fuel to clean the muffler:) works great... The muffler being close is no problem as of now...Mine is very close, and has done nothing to the paint...
