I just got G3 for Christmas. The stock Dominion 90 is wicked, but IMHO just too dang powerful on the collective to pretend realism.
I tried the Panos heli found in this forum. It's much improved, Thanks Pete. I tweaked the pitch endpoints to lower the pitch range and now it merely flies moderately more powerfully than my Fury Extreme 90.
There is a lot to get my head around in G3 with regards to performance de-tuning this a little bit more so I can get a realistic characteristic. Maybe someone can help me out.
When I do a ballooning maneuver where I severely bog the headspeed, the engine recovers too quickly. How can I change the time it takes to recover headspeed from a really bad bog? Is that torque?
If I lower the torque, then the engine isn't as powerful as it should be for moderate stress like during a climbout.
Thoughts?
