CNC giving me problems

Hi guys,

Not on the train tonight. But I put CNC mixing arms and elevator arms and all that on tonight, but I cant tighten the screws that go throuhg the baring .. If I do, the arms dont swing freely. That is happening on both sides and both components I have replaced!

Plastic ones were fine.

Any ideas?

Sorry... it's the Pitch and Roll arms, and the Washout Arms I replaced. Both don't allow me to tighten the screws... If I do, the arms get too tight and don't/can't swing freel, like the plastic ones did.

Yes, washers were used.

Did you put a washer in between the two bearings?

You may need a second washer between the arm and the mount.

i found the same thing with my plastics bro.ended up making some little brass shims like the ones betheen the seesaw and the flybar cage........now the paddles move if ya blow lighly on them :lol:

Oh hell. No... The washer is between the arms and the place it connects to the frame. Nothing between the washers... Should there be one?

I believe my instructions sadi to put a washer betwen the two bearings....and it also took a washer between the head and the inside bearing.....had that on my plastic arms also...

Instructions? I just got a plastic bag with parts. :(
And I only got 2 washers with the two arms... so I copied what I saw on the plastic ones. OK, I'll remove them, and see if I can find a spare washer somewhere..

bro if your putting them on with cap heads you should be able to put a washer between the bearings and one between the arm and the block.if you need another one there is one handily provided between the bearings of your old arms :smokin:

Took the washer from the plastic arms, put them into the CNC - and HEY PRESTO!
