How big is the battery pack that comes with the MA Ion-x compared to a TP pack? I need to know if it'll fit a Logo 10.

The MA packs ARE TP packs. The difference is that the cells in the MA packs are mounted side to side rather than end to end. So the pack ends up being a little taller but a lot shorter. The thickness would be the same for either.

Just like Chris said - we (TP) build the packs for the Ion helis! These packs are built in a "vertical" orientation and will not fit the Logo 10.

For the Logo 10, we suggest the newest TP6000-4S3P or TP6000-5S3P packs. One preffered power package is the Hacker C50-15L, 13-14 toth pinion and the 5S3P pack - excllent power with 12-20 minutes of all out 3D and sport flying.

NOTE - the newest 4P 8000 mAh packs will also fit the Logo 10, but you must use the stock main shaft. The hardened main shaft is too long and will contact the thicker 4P packs. Even the stock shaft can be close to the 4P packs - hence the 3P suggestions!

With the "Gen2" TP packs, they will deliver a lot more current under load so even 4s setups should be able to get away with 4s3p instead of 4s4p. Durations will be closer than you might think, as these cells hold their voltage up at a much higher level under load so you end up using less current for the same power.

As Jason points out though, 5s3p is really the way to go. The power-to-weight ratio hits one of those "sweet spots" in a Logo 10.
