I flew a new CC-HV85 with a stock 600XL motor and came in with abnormally high temps. With the stock Align 75a ESC and stock motor I would typically see motor temps of 135-140 and battery temps of 115-120(throttle % at 85-100), with the CC85 I am seeing motor temps 150-155 and battery temps at 140-150 (Throttle % at 75 straight line on the governor mode) I am running the advanced timing option 1 on setting 5(electronic timing advance). These new temps are unsatisfactory. How do I get the temps back down?

I'm going to ask these in the form of a question, 'cause I do not know.
Could it be the CC-HV85 is more efficient, and flowing more current to the motor?
Could it be it's actually able to pump out more power from your motor?
Could it be that changing to a 1 tooth smaller pinion would free that extra power up, and cool everything back down, without losing head speed?
I'm just taking guesses I would go through. I may be way off base...:thinking

Can you clarify the "advanced timing option 1" portion?
A setting of 5 is default for the timing, but I am not sure what the other part meant.

Couple of choises here for you
run it on mid timing it will all cool down , however you will make less watts peak out of your setup
The high timing mode on the CC is pretty wild ... shorten your flights. until the temps are the same as the standard setup .

The timing selection has 3 options, high, standard, and low. I started with standard which is recommended and is the default and also tryed the low, there did not seem to be a lot of difference between the settings. On a 5 minute flight I am used to putting back back 3000to3400mah, after yesterdays flights I put back 3500 to 4100 mah. The HS is about the same as usual. Temps went through the roof. I changed the timing to option 3 with the temps staying the same. Battery 140,motor 145. This is the first time in almost 500 flights that I have seen battery temps at 140, they are normally at 115 to 120 depending on hoe hard I fly. I will be checking with CC today.

I forgot to mention the head speed(HS) is 2100 rpm.
