Could someone tell me how to program EXP. on the 9Z - have not used function yet and for some reason, can't see how to do it on this radio.

It's Under Dual Rate (D/R) hit next and it comes up.

There is two places to set expo on the 9Z. One is behind the dual rate menu as Wayne mentioned. You can have it on a switch there if you want to cut it off and on. But if you want expo all the time. Go to the AFR menu, push next on the right side of the screen. Then the Expo menu will appear. This is the place that I use for expo with the 9Z. I have no reason to turn it off and on.
You have to remember to set the expo rate in each flight condition no matter which menu you set it from.
