Hello Evan.

I looked in the manual of BC6-10 and I did not see anything about this.

Many of us that still use NiMh want to do a forming charge or a standard charge with the charger.

Is it possible to do so with this one?
1/10 C in 14-16 h without interference from -dV ?

Which is the values in trickle charge?

Edit: I know that it is a hard time for any charger to detect any peak with this kind of load so maybe it will be ok, but I want to know for shure.

There is not directly, but there are 2 ways to "fool" the charger. # 2 I need to confirm.

#1. You can change the Delta Peak sensitivity in the User Setup. Default value is 5, max is 20. Change to 20 and that should take the peak detection just about out. Make sure you either extend ot turn off the safety timer.

#2. Set Trickle charge to the C/10 value, up to 250 mah. Set the capacity limit to 100 mah. Once the charger inputs 100 mah, it should terminate the charge and go into tricke charge. I do have to confirm this to ensure that it does go into trickle mode when forced to terminate via capacity.

Hello Evan. Thankyou for the answer.

Edit:Is the time max limit also 720 min as it is at BC-6? (I have this one)

12 h is a bit short to do a forming charge, I wonder why the technicians didn't thought of this?

Wasn't designed for it. Turn off the timer.

For me, 12 hours for a formation charge works perfect. I know a some reccommend 14-16 hours, but I suspect it's because the actual amps may be less the C/10. After all, C/10 amps for 12 hours is 120% of MAH capacity. I'll round the amp increment up to get between C/10 and C/9.

Form charging has to do with the chemicals in the cells interacting. This is only accomplished with a C/10 charge for 22 hours. 14-16 is not enough on a new pack. On a pack that has been peaked charged numerous times it is sufficient.
