was going to buy a trex 500 but I Have heard good things about the Atom 500 ,is the Atom 500 and parts available.....
where is a good place to buy.........thanks

Contact Bobby at www.RREMODELS.com he'll take care of you... From what I've heard their will be another batch around the 12th... Hold off for the Atom it's a sweet bird.

I flew one at IRCHA.... flew great and looks to be a great 500 sized heli!!! I have one coming from the next batch as well so stay tuned :)

The last time I spoke with Esprit Models at IRCHA they still had two left. I did bring one home from IRCHA. I just posted my findings after the initial set up. I still have a few things I hope to tweak, but overall I am very impressed.

Any need to upgrade any parts on it, or is it GTG out of the box? I'm considering getting one myself eventually because Im not much into my 450 anymore. The Atom looks killer! Good job Compass

It looked to be a nice flying and well built heli at IRCHA. Bobby was THRASHING his, and when he crashed it, there were parts available for the rebuild.
Maybe Kevin T or B will see this thread and let everybody know what the real deal is.

Although I really like the Atom 500 I ended up getting a trex 500....
Mainly because of parts availability......my local HS carrys a complete line of Align parts for the 450,500,600

The parts will be available. Even though the production Atom 500s won't be available till the middle of this month we are already ordering parts. We have one order we should receive later this week and are placing the next order on Wednesday. The order already placed and the Wednesday order are mostly Atom parts.
These kits and parts were very hard to get for IRCHA as noted that Ade Law gave his up so we could have one to show. Thank you very much Ade. Lucky for us Compass was able to get a few through Customs. This allowed us to have two spare kits which we used for parts for IRCHA.
We are getting the parts in before we get the production Atoms. If you are interested in getting this great heli, please have your Dealer send in an order. We may only have one shot to place an order before the first run is gone. The Dealers who place a order will be the ones with the Atom 500. Orders placed later may have to wait until the next run is completed. Other Distributors from around the world are placing their orders for this highly demanded heli. We will have Atom parts available for your Dealers to order.

It's a Compass no need to upgrade it to fly it it's GTG right out of the box. Buy one you'll really like it. I did a couple light mod's. just because it worked out better for me.

We have a couple of pre-production kits in stock and are expecting our first shipment of Atom's within the next 2 weeks along with all parts. Look for some great combos soon.

I figured as much. I would love to get one, but I still have yet to finish building my Knight50. I figure by next summer I'll need a new project and I'll get one then. I hate the idea of getting another Align because I've had so many quality issues with their products. Nevertheless, I'll probably never get rid of my 450 though. Too much dumped down the tubes on it to begin with!

Ditch the Align like I did and get Compass... as for the 450's look at the Rave or Beam. I have a Rave on order.
Also RRemodels is going to have Atom 500 parts up on Saturday. They will also be having some very nice combo worked up...
