Hello to all and Happy New Year!

I just purchased a 14mz and having the most difficult time setting up on my tempest. My previous radio was a 9Z and was very successful at setting up a 120 degree SR3 on that radio, With the 14mx its all screwed up for me. The controls are not moving correctly. Please help

Here is what I have done so far to no avail

Throttle is Ch #1 and pluged in correctly on receiver in ch#1

Aileron is ch#4 and pluged correctly in receiver in ch#4

Elevator is ch#2 " "

Pitch is ch#6 and also pluged into # 6 in receiver

SWASH MENU -60 for ail, +60 for elevator and +60 for pitch

MODEL TYPE - I selected HN3(120 degree) I also tried HR3, but nothing is working out for me

Thank for any help you can offer me

Copy the tempest program from the post below or do Linkage -> Function and you can see what channel is what. This should get you close. There is a Tempest FAI model file there. I can get Shannon to email his Tempest 3D if that is what your flying. Use the file as a quick start.

Here are some of mine-- You may want to just use these for review-- I do some strange things w/ setups sometimes.

Starting Setup should have all subs and ATV's at "0"

Reflex Fury is for Reflex Sim.

I also attached the Sim file for anyone who has Reflex

You don't "open" the mdl files. Yu copy them onto your CF card from the 14MZ TX. Then you can either run directly off the card or copy that model into the TX itself.

mdl files are the actual model files that only the transmitter can use. They cannot be opened on a computer, etc.
