well first off i want to thank all of you that recomended the hawk pro over the rappy 30 for my first nitro. i got my hawk in the mail the tues after xmas (xmas present for myself). it took me maybe 5 hours to build with no probs at all. then had to do the overnight charging of the new batts. the next day i installed the training gear (yknow just in case) and started her up, set the idle, then took off... the gyro needed adjusting as was expected. took it back up to hover and down to set the mid range air/fuel. after everything was done i was just hovering around for a min. and took the training gear off. after that this thing wat the smoothest thing i have every flown. the next day i was actualy flying the heli not just hovering it was the most fun i have ever had 30mph+ 500ft+!!! this is the best heli i have ever baught. thank you century for making quality products that fly well.

I did not start out a "Century Man" and their manuals leave a lot to be desired but... they make one heck of a helicopter.
Welcome to the team

Glad to see you give them a try. They are great heli's to learn on. Very low cost to repair as well.

Had my Hawk Pro since Christmas. You cant beat this heli for the price, and with the right add ons, this heli should have no problem performing all the tricks the "expensive heli's can" :D

Got the Pro myself shortly after Christmas. Putting the finishing touches on my new house so in the next day or so I'll get started on putting mine together.
Any tips from those of you that have allready got yours going? I'm pretty new to helis so dont get to deep on me!!
Thanks,
Steve

Make sure there is locktite on the setscrew in your starter shaft adapter.

Hell I would loctite the adapter to the shaft as well. I do that with the tail hub as well. And any metal gears to shafts. I use the red loctite gel, it works very well and has less of a problem running down into the bearings.
