I was on the H-list back in the time span mentioned. I recognise a couple of the names mentioned. Then a couple of them I have never heard of. Seems like the article is piece together from 1997 to 2000 time span. The GY 601 came out in 2000 and is mentioned.

The only thing I disagree is starting a raw beginner out with negative 4 at low stick on the collective. Seems like a good way to be cutting the boom off the heli with the beginner panics and jerks the stick to low position when he gets into trouble. Seen to many cut the boom doing that.


Where did you find that ? Maybe that will help in the author naming.
