Ok, I started flying a slow stick last year to "relax". I love the thing...cheap, easy to maintain and I upgraded the motor, battery and ESC to Himax motor and Lipo battery power. Man, the thing takes off in about 2 feet!

Today, I finished the floats after watching a friend of mine take off and land in a lake while we were camping. The floats turned out great! I didn't bring the wing as I didn't really think I would have time to finish (also swapped over to spektrum today).

We took it out and "drove" around on the lake with it for a while and had a blast. One guy walks up and says...."I don't think it will ever get off the water...looks like it's missing something". I had to explain I was just goofing off. He apparently thought I was really trying to take off.

We only live about 30 minutes from where we are camping so I may run home and get the wing tomorrow for her maiden water flight!

I also painted the wings and floats...photos tomorrow.

Now if I can figure out how to get the TRex to float!
