Hi

I am new to Heli's, I have recently bought a Rappy 50v2 and built it up with all JR gear, servos are DS559's, Gyro is a JRG6000T with the JR8000sx tail servo etc.

I have the maverikk carbon blades, and 80mm tail blades, however I have been told to replace those with something like a set of Carbon Tech 92mm ones, anyway that is without going into it to much what it consists of.

I have been getting a lot of assistance from the guys from the Heli Club, they have been great.

The problem I am having though is that I have bought a Gyro that nobody seems to use around here and consequently we are having a difficult time sorting out the set up with the JR9X2 TX.

We have collected, read, and tried many different settings from the instruction booklet to many hints and tips found on the net, and although we are getting it close to right, the performance of this "high end" Gyro with the current set up would be an embarrassment to the manufacturer, in fact the instructions seem to contradict themselves, so JR should be embarrassed anyway I guess.

I was under the impression that this Gyro should if set up right give a very high level of performance, so I intend to persevere, although giving up, hiding it somewhere in the bottom of the cupboard and buying a 401 futaba might be a lot easier I have been told,

If you have had success with this equipment I would really appreciate a tip or two, before my 11yo gives up trying to fly due to the erratic behavior of our Heli.

cheers

Graham

The 6000T was never even released for sale here in the USA from what I have seen. I know a few of the team pilots were using it here in the USA and I think there reports were not favorable. It was never brought in by the JR importer here in the US.
