Hello,

I am quite tempted witha gaser like a Predator. I don't want to do 3D, but instead nice scale flying.

- are there some scale fuselage for the predator ?

- Are trere somr extra-efficient muffler to quiet a lot the Zenoah sound ?

Alternatively, besides the VARIO (very expensive !), are there other 23cc gaser that will accept some nice scale fuselages ?

Hi .

A Zenoah 23 with a zimmerman exhaust is just as quiet (if not more so) than a nitro.

OK but, I don't want as quite as a nitro, I want MUCH QUITER than a nitro. I want to be able to hear the Flap-Flap of the blades under load. Just like a.... electric ! :o

So may be 2 Zimmerman attached in serie ???:YeaBaby::YeaBaby:

Well, to help with the scale sound you'll want a really good muffler and use more pitch and less headspeed to achieve the effect you want.

Thanks,

The scale fueslage will also dampen the sound, a fair bit, compared to the muffler being out in the open, like it is in the pod-and-boom configuration.

There are a number of people in the scale forum on RR that have installed their Preddy GS's in some of the Century Sclae fuselages - e.g. their big H500 fuselage and their UH-1 fuselage are two that come to mind, but there may be others.
