It looks a lot like the older Venture..
For the price you might want to look at the Tiger 50 and every upgrade they have...I believe you'll still have $ left over for fuel.

Thanks Wayne. I agree it looked expensive. The website did not really list a whole lot of info on it. I was wondering if it was a 50 size Vibe or something.

The Airskipper is nothing like the Venture. It is a stacked frame that is similar to the Voyager 50 heli that it replaced.

Does this heli come with a metal swash, blades or a muffler? Seems high priced. Very cool looking however.

Jay Mowl,
No it does not come with a metal swash or muffler. And yes it is high priced. But you get JR quality. I just finished building mine and will test it out in the morning. I am impressed with the quality. It is just like my Carbon Predator Max 90 just smaller. It has triple bearing blocks on the main shaft. All of your main shafts are in a bearing block. Tail output gear, clutch bell, and main shaft, all in bearing blocks. Fiberglass canopy comes with it. It is nice as is or you can paint it. The kit also comes with metal main blade grips. I could not belive how smoothe everything fit together while building. This is not a beginner heli, as it is too pricey. If you want a great preceision heli in the 50 size then the Airskipper is the way to go. Otherwise stick with the Raptor, Century Raven, Ventury, type of kits. Of course this is just my opinnion. Good luck.

The airskipper flies great. The only two things that I flund it needed stock out of the box was different paddles, and the addition of an anti-rotation bracket. The cyclis is kind of slow with the stock paddles. I will be of for sport flying but not for 3d. The swash plate tends to torque during hard climbouts. No big deal but a anti-rotation bracket would stiffen the feel of the swash. I had no tracking issues with the blades. I ran the stock dampeners out of the box and the blades never needed adjusting. I guess my set up was spot on. Also no vibrations at all. This was the smoothest 30-50 size heli I have flown to date. I have also upgraded the entire swash up throuth the head to machined parts from RJXUSA.com. They are silver and look great. I do not think it was needed but I do feel it will improve performance and lower repair costs in the event of a crash. Also the upgraded machined seesaw arms are going to be a must. I did my first auto with it and bounced it slightly on the landing and one of the seewaw arms broke. My tiger 50 would do the same thing. Nothing else was bent or damaged just the plastic seesaw arm. The ball link did not pop off the arm just broke. Also if you set the pitch up as per the manual you just do not get enough nigative pitch. The stock set up will give you +14/-7. I will get some photo's posted later.

Check out this web site. The Hurrican can run with the airskipper 50 with no problem.
All Hurrican parts are a direct fit to the AS 50. And can save you $$$$$ when you have a mishap.Rjx also sells a "E" conversion kit that will bolt right up to the Airskipper 50 to convert it to eletric.
See what you think, Thanks

I also have a Hurrican 50 and it flys great, RJXofUSA has plenty of parts in stock right here in the USA and Rusty is a great guy to deal with. :thumbsup2:
